Al Sapienza and Deborah Rennard come to grace The Venu with their breathtaking and story-telling musical performance!
Performing to sold out shows in NY, Florida and Las Vegas, Al Sapienza of “SOPRANOS” fame, and Deborah Rennard from CBS’s “DALLAS,” sing the songs that shaped their lives and careers, and share the “stories” of how they navigated their way through the entertainment industry to get where they are today. The result is an autobiographical journey including songs from BEATLES to BROADWAY, STREISAND to SINATRA, NEIL DIAMOND to SIMON AND GARFUNKLE and more. With the Joey Melotti quartet, they celebrate the power of music and pay tribute to the artists and songs that have inspired their lives and careers.
About Al Sapienza:
From an infamous mafia hit man going head to head with Tony Soprano, to a corrupt mayor with a good heart, and a union lobbyist who duels with Kevin Spacey, Al Sapienza has brought to life some of the most memorable characters in film and television today. With a career spanning over thirty years, Sapienza has made a name for himself in the entertainment business for not only his undeniable talent to create unforgettable characters, but also his commitment to hard work and dedication with each project he is working on.

About Deborah Rennard:
Deborah Rennard spent 10 years playing JR Ewing’s secretary, SLY, on the hit TV series, “DALLAS” and she starred opposite Jean Claude Van Damme in “LIONHEART”, for Universal. She has done recurring roles on “DAYS OF OUR LIVES”, “SILK STALKINGS”, “DUE SOUTH” , “FAMILY LAW”, “MICHAEL HAYES”, “KUNG FU”, “HARDCASTLE AND McCORMICK” and “SHOW ME A HERO”. She played CYNTHIA at the Pasadena Playhouse, in “CARNAL KNOWLEDGE”. She co-produced “EZ STREETS” for CBS, “IN THE VALLEY OF ELAH” for Warner Independent, and “3RD PERSON” for SONY. Her play “ENOUGH” was read at NYSAF and optioned Off-Broadway at the Peccadillo Theater Company. Her play “FOR WORSE” was read at NYSAF, produced at NJ Repertory Company, and is currently being developed for an off-Broadway run in 2020.
About Joey Melotti:
With the support of his loving family, Joey Melotti began his musical journey at the age of 5, starting with the accordion and cutting his first piece of vinyl at 8 years of age.
He began touring in 1976 with the late Vickie Sue Robinson, famous for her hit single, “Turn the Beat Around”. He produced two of his own albums, “The Joe Melotti Quartet: Live at the Foundry Café” and “Take Another Look”.
Joey’s musical director credits include Barry Manilow, Eartha Kitt, Michael Bolton, Liza Minnelli and Julio Iglesias, accompanying them on their world tours. He has also been conductor and musical director for David Gest on numerous productions, and has collaborated with outstanding artists like Michael McDonald, Luther Vandross, and Usher, to name but a few.

Please ensure that your entire party arrives at the same time to be seated together. Each reserved seating guest is subject to a $15 food and beverage minimum spend. We suggest making an earlier reservation as it grants a higher chance of getting your desired seats.
*General admission refers to the bar area and high-tops, but is also on a first-come, first-served basis (though you may still order full dinner service) and DOES NOT GUARANTEE a seat. On occasion, general admission seats will fill up and there will be standing room only. We do not take reservations for general admission so again, we suggest coming early to secure a good spot.
*Door ticket prices are priced according to demand but are generally $5 more expensive than pre-sale. In addition, door tickets may not be available if shows sell out, so we highly suggest purchasing tickets in advance.
